Lincang may not be the most exciting destination, but it's incredibly comfortable to stay in

Experience slow living in this border town of Yunnan! As the birthplace of world tea trees, Lincang overflows with tea aromas and Wa ethnic charm🌿

Day1:
📍Wengding Ancient Village (Cangyuan County): China's last primitive tribe. Arrive before 9am to see the misty village at dawn. Wa girls will paint blessing totems on your face (free)
📍Cliff Painting Valley (Cangyuan County): 3000-year-old Wa rock paintings. Wear anti-slip shoes as mountain paths get slippery during rainy season
🍴Lunch recommendation: Zhaimen Farmhouse - must try Wa King's Banquet and chicken porridge

Day2:
📍Ancient Tea-Horse Town (Linxiang District): Well-preserved post station on the Tea-Horse Road with visible hoof prints on cobblestones
📍Hecheng Eco-Cultural Park: Huge tea plantation for picking experience (¥30/person includes tea-picking outfit). Best for sunset photos
🍵Afternoon tea: Ancient Ink Tea House's aged pu'er with flower cakes is perfection

Day3:
📍Nanmei Lahu Ethnic Township: Colorful log cabins make great photo spots. Saturday markets sell handmade embroidery
📍Wulao Mountain Forest Park: Glass skywalk (¥68/person) through primitive forest. Bring a jacket

⚠️Tips:
1. Wear dark clothes for Wa's "Touch You Black" Festival - pigments stain
2. Bring original ID at border checks (digital IDs not accepted)
3. Large temperature differences in mountains - bring jacket even in July-August
4. Stay at tea-themed hotels. We recommend "Tea-Horse Inn" with rooftop stargazing

🍜Must-eats:
Pea flour noodles (try the time-honored shop on Yudai Road)
Wa rice wine (low alcohol, sweet-sour taste)
Pu'er tea stewed chicken (extra flavorful with tea broth)
