very good food

Loved it here! Great ambience, prompt and polite service and tasty food. The complimentary bread basket at the start was scrumptious! We also ordered gnocchi with chicken and Turkish eggs—both were good, not great. But our fave (and our best eat of the entire trip) was the French onion toastie w tomato soup.

The toastie was the star: tender yet crispy sourdough, sandwiching a sweet spiced onion chutney with salty nutty Gruyère. We loved it. Will be back. Also, price wise it is quite decent if you consider other options in the vicinity.
