Worship the Naga @ Tham Chaeng Temple, Cha-am, Phetchaburi Province 🐉

#Songkran2024Travel

“Wat Tham Chaeng” Worship the largest Naga in Thailand 🙏🙏

“Father Phaya Phetkiri Mahamuni Sri Sutthonakraj” 🐉

🙏 This temple is not to be missed by those who believe in the supernatural. We will take you to worship and ask for blessings from “Father Phaya Phetkiri Mahamuni Sri Sutthonakraj”, the first Naga statue in Phetchaburi and another landmark of Cha-am District.

🐉 The largest Naga statue in Thailand, it is about 31 meters high and 2 meters in diameter. It is beautifully and magnificently colored.

What you should not miss when you worship is walking under the belly of the Naga, which has 9 channels to pass through, and each channel has a different meaning.

Inside the temple, they will provide us with a set of incense sticks and red cloth for us to change and worship, for us to write our name, surname, date of birth, and the blessing we asked for. After making a wish, we can take it to tie it.

The journey is not difficult at all. It is just a short distance from the main road. If you are traveling through Cha-am District, don't forget to stop by and ask for blessings 🙏🙏
