A perfect blend of history, culture, and modern comfort

Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel is a building that carries the city's memories and history. As Hunan Province's first foreign-related three-star hotel, it was established in the 1950s, originally the site of He Jian's residence. The Sino-Soviet architectural style featuring red brick bare walls and glazed tile roofs leaves a deep impression. In 2018, the hotel’s central building was moved in its entirety in a record-breaking project, becoming Hunan Province’s first cultural relic relocation project. It has now transformed into a five-star boutique hotel, preserving its historical appearance while incorporating modern functions.
The vintage chandeliers and old photographs in the lobby tell stories of the past, while the rooms are equipped with a full smart home system, Dyson hairdryers, and French Yves Rocher toiletries. This fusion of old and new design is refreshing.
Every detail of the hotel reflects thoughtful care. The toiletries are packaged in designs resembling the building’s exterior, and the care kit even thoughtfully includes hair ties; the minibar is well-stocked, and bath salts and aromatherapy are placed beside the bathtub. These subtle services make guests feel truly comfortable.
