“Jinhae in Bloom: A Spring Symphony of Cherry Blossoms”

The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival is a famous cherry blossom festival held every spring in Jinhae, South Korea. During the festival, the whole city is covered with beautiful pink cherry blossoms. People visit to walk along pretty spots like Yeojwacheon Stream and Gyeonghwa Station, take photos, and enjoy street food and cultural shows.

Festival Name: Jinhae Gunhangje Festival (진해군항제)
Location: Jinhae, Changwon, South Korea
Typical Dates: Late March to early April (depends on the cherry blossom forecast, but usually around March 25 – April 5).
Famous Spots:
• Yeojwacheon Stream — the most Instagram-worthy place with cherry blossoms arching over the stream and romantic bridges.
• Gyeonghwa Station — old railway tracks lined with cherry blossom trees. Trains don’t pass anymore but it’s a photographer’s dream.
• Jinhae NFRDI Environment Eco-Park — a less crowded spot with peaceful walking paths.

The festival also honors a famous Korean hero, Admiral Yi Sun-sin, so there are military parades and performances too. It’s one of the best places in Korea to see cherry blossoms!
