Starting from Xingtai, it took a 4-hour drive to reach Changzhi Huguan. I've lost count of how many times I've been to Huguan 🤔
The road conditions this time were truly terrible, with construction everywhere. It's my fault for not checking the notice, which suggested coming after June 30th. You can follow the official account of Baquanxia to know when it's open 📱
Originally, I planned to take the loop route, but it was indeed a bit steep ⛰️
My navigation first led me to Changzhi Shengxian Bridge, but I didn't go up. Later, I drove in the direction of Weize Shui Village for 10 minutes and saw the entrance to Qili Zhan. Walking in for 10 minutes, I could see the smooth gray cliffs. There is a large viewing platform in Weize Shui Village, and the road below leads to the cliffside plank road, which takes about 40 minutes 🚶‍♂️
For those with stamina, you can directly go up from Shengxian Bridge, loop around Qili Zhan, and descend. Someone has shared the route before, and the whole journey takes about five hours ⏱️
