Naka Horn Flower: A Highlight of Phu Soi Dao

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
The Crested Naga flowers are a major highlight of tourism at Phu Soi Dao National Park, Uttaradit Province, during the rainy season.
The Crested Naga flowers begin to bloom and are at their most beautiful between July and September each year. Especially in the middle of the rainy season, these pale purple flowers bloom across the grassy plains of Phu Soi Dao's "Lan Son." The contrast with the lush green of the three-leaf pine forest and the low-lying mist creates a stunning and romantic scenery, attracting hikers and nature lovers.
Important Information for Seeing Crested Naga Flowers:
Best Time to Visit: Generally July to September (some sources indicate as late as October).
Viewing Location: "Lan Son" on Phu Soi Dao.
Getting There: This is a challenging trek, with a 6.5-kilometer climb taking approximately 4-6 hours.
Weather: During the rainy season, heavy rain, thick fog, and slippery road surfaces can occur. Be prepared with adequate equipment, such as rain gear, suitable hiking shoes, and a minimum of two days and one night (or three days and two nights) overnight stay on the mountain to fully enjoy the view.
