The Naga Flower: The Heroine of Phu Soi Dao... A Dream Flower Field in Uttaradit 💜🌿
Has anyone ever felt like they've entered a fantasy world? I just experienced that at Phu Soi Dao National Park, Uttaradit Province, with the beauty of the Naga Flower, the heroine of this high mountain, which is known as the largest and most beautiful flower field in Thailand!
The Naga Flower is a type of wild flower that has a unique appearance. Its petals are layered, resembling the crest of a Naga, just as its name suggests. What's amazing is the bright purple color of the flowers that bloom across the vast expanse. On the day I went, there was a thin layer of fog covering the entire area, making the image in front of me look like a dream painting, like I had really entered another world!
The specialty of the Naga Flower is not only its beauty, but also its interesting behavior: in the morning, the flowers open to receive sunlight fully, showing off their bright purple color for us to enjoy to the fullest. But when it's almost noon, the flowers will slowly close their petals together, as if they are sleeping, waiting to welcome the new day in the morning. It's a very amazing life cycle.
The best time to see the beauty of the blooming Crested Nak flowers is the rainy season. Because it's the rainy season, the flowers receive plenty of water and food, allowing them to grow and bloom fully throughout the field. Anyone who loves nature, likes hiking, and wants to experience the beauty of a great flower field in the country must not miss visiting Phu Soi Dao during this time!
The journey up to Phu Soi Dao may be a bit challenging, but I assure you that it's worth the effort. You'll encounter the beauty of nature that you can't find anywhere else, and you'll be able to fully recharge your energy.
Who plans to visit Phu Soi Dao during the rainy season? Get your camera ready and let's go capture beautiful images of the Crested Nak flowers together!
