Chengdu recommends the Courtyard Hotel, which is quiet in the bustling city.

I came to Chengdu to work and lived in Chengdu Yard, which is adjacent to the thousand-year-old Zen temple Wenshu Temple and is located in the historical and cultural protection area "Wenshufang". The 86 guest rooms in the courtyard are surrounded by 16 large courtyards of Ming and Qing dynasty mansions in western Sichuan. It is a microcosm of western Sichuan architecture.

The main entrance is a pedestrian street, and vehicles can enter the courtyard through the side door. The staff will lead the guests into the hotel lobby, check in, and then lead the guests into the courtyard room with their luggage.

You can spend a whole day in the hotel. The courtyard hotel is divided into five courtyards: Longyuan, Deyuan, Lanyuan, Jiangyuan Commune, and Majia Mansion. All of them have historical origins. They may be the Sichuan folk house of Ba Jin's grandfather, Mr. Li Zhuxi, or the early residence of Zhang Qun, or the place where Tao Ranshi studied and translated "Huayang Guozhi·Shuzhi"...

There is also a courtyard theater in the hotel, where face-changing, Sichuan opera, fire-breathing, and Sichuan opera Furong national quintessence "head oil lamp" are performed, so you can feel and experience Sichuan culture.

The room is equipped with gardenia aromatherapy, a small balcony, local Sichuan tea, snacks, and rice paper for writing calligraphy... It is quiet when you go to bed late, and birds sing when you wake up early. There are fragrance of flowers everywhere, and scenery at every step! The breakfast at Chengdu Yard is also very rich, with wonton, noodles, tofu pudding... everything! Will stay here again next time.
