Historical background
- It was built in 1958 and opened in 1960. As a Sichuan provincial guest house, it has long undertaken high-level reception tasks for the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government. In 1995, it became the first five-star hotel in Southwest China. In 2016, it was selected into the first batch of China's 20th Century Architectural Heritage List.
