I heard about The Ritz-Carlton when I first arrived in Chengdu, and I've been wanting to check it out ever since. It's right in the city center, next to Taikoo Li, so it's super convenient to get to. I walked a few steps from the subway exit and I was there. The surrounding area was full of bustling street scenes, but as soon as I entered the hotel, it was quiet, like I had traveled to another world.
