A full day Panda watching? I couldn’t believe my eyes!

Booking a shuttle bus for 0800 I was surprised to see the pick up at 1730, thinking there was no way I’d spend that long at the base..

And here I am on the bus home at 5pm and all I can say is this is definitely a full day experience!! And the cutest day if that..

The park is huge (I have attached a copy for the guide map for you) and I also waited an hour in line to see the beautiful HuaHua, a panda who has gained celebrity like popularity amongst Chinese people!

I ended up paying for the shuttle around the park which was 30RMB through WeChat payment as it is very steep most places around the park and also a lot of stairs so prepare your hiking boots regardless!

💰 Average Price per Person: 55RMB for Adults
🚌 How to get there: I booked a 20RMB shuttle transfer from Chinxi Road station. The bus stop is to the side of the IFS mall (can buy tickets direct at the departure location with WeChat mini app best to book at least 1 day in advance)
🍱 Restaurants and Snacks: There is one main eating area in the middle of the park but not really much food elsewhere so I would recommend bringing some snacks for when you’re on the other side of the park.. also I noticed not too many vending machine but lots of places to fill up water so BYO water bottle is ideal!
🕐 Travel timing: Full day visit with lots of walking! The pandas seem to eat in the morning then rest then the afternoon they will full of energy and got to see them play around! If you’re going for a half way I’d recommend after their lunch and afternoon nap!
