Where Old Meets Gold ✨🍜 – Jinli Old Street, Chengdu

These three places in Chengdu are truly amazing✨! Walking on the rainy day’s bluestone slabs, I felt like I traveled back to the Three Kingdoms era, calming my soul at the Wuhou Shrine and then fully recharging in the lively atmosphere of the neighboring Jinli Street~
**🏯Wuhou Shrine Section**
📍Address: No. 231 Wuhouci Street, Wuhou District
⏰8:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Last entry at 5:30 PM)
🎫50 RMB/person
I stood in front of the Three Wonders Stele for 20 minutes without moving; the red walls and bamboo shadows in the rain and mist looked like an ink painting. While focusing on the cultural relics area, the guide mentioned that Zhao Yun’s armor has 108 plates, and I suddenly understood what "every brick and tile tells a story" means❗ Remember, photography is prohibited inside the exhibition halls~
**🏮Jinli Life-Boosting Guide**
📍Right next to the Wuhou Shrine exit
⏰Open 24 hours
At the corner, the sound of the "Three Big Cannons" cracking loudly can be heard, and the sweet water noodle chef’s hands move so fast they leave afterimages. Recommended to come in the evening when the lanterns light up, perfect for capturing atmospheric photos📸 But! Don’t buy souvenirs on the main street; go further inside for half the price (whispering)
**🔁Route Bonus**
“Visit Wuhou Shrine, then soak in Jinli” is a classic itinerary for Chengdu. Morning at Wuhou Shrine 👉 Lunch nearby with Zhong dumplings 👉 Afternoon strolling in Jinli 👉 After 5 PM, head straight across to Shu Feng Ya Yun to watch face-changing. This route has been personally tested to maximize both cultural value and fun~
💡Rainy Day Tips:
1. Bring tissues to wipe water stains when taking photos of the red walls at Wuhou Shrine
2. Jinli’s stone slabs are slippery, wear non-slip shoes!
3. Don’t buy combined tickets for the scenic spots; you won’t be able to see everything anyway
