#Beautiful temple 'Wat Chiang Yuen' is an ancient temple that has been a part of Chiang Mai for a long time. In history, it was one of the 9 temples that have been a part of Chiang Mai. Wat Chiang Yuen is considered the city's deity.
The attraction is the beautiful and grand pagoda, which is a great merit and a center of faith. Another very interesting thing is the Lanna-style chapel.
It is the place where the Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude is enshrined, or also known as the Omniscient Buddha, which is highly respected, worshipped, and venerated by the people of Chiang Mai. There are many other interesting details in the temple that you can enjoy walking around and admiring.
Wat Chiang Yuen is located in the outer moat, a little past the Chang Phuak Gate. There will be a nameplate arch and a large statue of Luang Por Tan Jai in front of the temple. It is open to visitors every day.
