Chiang Man Temple

According to the stone inscription of Wat Chiang Man, in the hall in front of the ordination hall of Wat Chiang Man, inscribed in 2124 BE in the Fak Kham and Tai Yuan (Tai-Yuan or Tai Lanna, northern Tai Yonok) script,
it tells the history of the construction of Wat Chiang Man that
in 1839 BE, Phraya Mangrai, Phraya Ngam Mueang, and Phraya Ruang
jointly built a dormitory at the Ratchamontien
digging (ditch) building Tribur (three-layered wall) on all 4 sides
and building a pagoda at Ban Chiang Man, Lot (meaning at the same time) built it as a temple, named Wat Chiang Man
in 2014 BE, Phra Dilokratchao (Phra Chao Tilokarat)
built a pagoda with laterite
in 2101 BE, Somdet Phra Maha Thammarachathirat Chao granted a silver bathing basin
(was the king of Burma at that time Chiang Mai is in the Burmese territory)
In 2114, a pagoda was built over the original pagoda again.
A plot was built, a pagoda, a chapel, a library, a wall, and a gate.
