🩶The world's first silver church @Wat Sri Suphan, Chiang Mai Province

“Wat Sri Suphan” is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Chiang Mai Province that tourists are very interested in. It is over 500 years old and is famous for “the world’s first silver chapel” which is beautifully built, eye-catching and magnificent. The construction method is based on the base and boundary markers of the original chapel. It is a Lanna architecture with a brick and mortar structure measuring 5 meters wide, 17.50 meters long and 18 meters high.

The temple is located in the community of foundry craftsmen and silverware craftsmen on Wualai Road, which is considered a famous silverware production source in Chiang Mai Province.
