Head to Chiang Mai's power spot, Wat Chedi Luang!

This Buddhist temple is the most popular power spot in Chiang Mai, with its ancient history and beautiful architecture.

The grounds are spacious and there is a large hall inside, with three golden Buddha statues shining inside.

As it was a weekday, there were few visitors and I was able to look around at my own pace.

At the back of the grounds is a huge pagoda that collapsed in the earthquake, which gives a sense of the magnitude of the earthquake and is worth seeing.

It is located in the old town area and is easy to get to.
It is about a 10-15 minute walk from Tha Phae Gate.
Admission fee is 50 baht.
