🌟Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan is an important temple in Chiang Mai Province. It is used for many important ceremonies in Chiang Mai Province. It is assumed that this temple was built during the reign of King Saen Mueang Ma of the Mangrai Dynasty around 1928 and has been renovated in many eras. The chedi is 60 meters wide on each side and about 80 meters high. In the past, it was the tallest chedi in Lanna. It is another important chedi in Chiang Mai Province. Currently, only half of it remains from the major earthquake in 2088. 🌟
🙏🏻Inside Wat Chedi Luang in the middle of the city, there are many things to worship such as the chedi, the Inthakhil pillar, a large rubber tree, a kuman, and a hermit. Wat Chedi Luang was once home to the Emerald Buddha, the guardian Buddha of Thailand in the past.🙏🏻
💰 The entrance fee for foreign tourists is 50 baht, and Thais are free.
🚘 You can park for free in the temple area in front of the temple for about 20 cars.
