Temples You Must Visit in Chiang Mai, Thailand

📍 Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
Known as the "Temple in the Sky," this iconic site attracts visitors from all over Thailand 🛕. To get there, you can take a red Songthaew (shared taxi), rent a car or motorbike, or hire a taxi. Personally, I negotiated with a Songthaew driver to take me both ways, which worked out well!

Once you arrive, you'll need to climb 306 steps to reach the temple. The view from the top offers a breathtaking panorama of Chiang Mai. The golden temple itself is awe-inspiring, leaving me with an indescribable feeling. There are guides available at the temple to help you understand how to properly pay your respects. You can even try your luck with a fortune slip!

This temple was highly recommended by locals, and I can confidently say it’s absolutely worth the visit‼️
