Wat Umong

🙏🏻 Wat Umong Suan Phutthatham is an ancient temple located in Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. It has been with Chiang Mai for more than 700 years. It was built during the reign of King Mangrai around 1839 and later, King Kuena built a tunnel for Phra Mahathera Chan to use as a place for meditation.

🍀 In the rainy season, this place is covered with lush green moss around the temple, pagoda and in front of the tunnel, making it beautiful and attractive to tourists to visit the beauty of Wat Umong.
