🕊️ “Wat Phra That Doi Kham: Pray to Luang Por Than Jai and Enjoy Panoramic Views of Chiang Mai” 🙏🌿

Located on Doi Kham near Royal Park Rajapruek, this temple is over 1,300 years old and one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai. It is believed that it was built by the son of Queen Chamadevi to enshrine the Buddha's hair relics.

As soon as you reach the temple, you'll be greeted by a large, white and gold Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, prominently visible from the entrance. Upon entering, you'll encounter Luang Por Than Jai, a sacred Buddha image often visited by people to pray for good fortune, success, and love—it's said that their wishes come true so quickly, so much so that people return to fulfill their vows with hundreds of jasmine garlands.

🌟 Must-See Highlights
• An ancient chedi containing the Buddha's hair relics.
• Luang Por Than Jai: You can only make one wish at Luang Por Than Jai, and it must be spoken clearly.
• 360° panoramic views of Chiang Mai, including both the mountains and the city from the temple terrace.
• Peaceful and serene atmosphere. Perfect for meditation and recharging your spirit.
• Local shops and lottery tickets are located below the temple (a must-see for those interested in taking risks 😄)
