Travel to Mae Kha Canal, Chiang Mai

Another popular landmark right now that anyone who comes to Chiang Mai must stop by to take a photo and check in. Located in the middle of Chiang Mai, it feels like Otaru in Japan. The atmosphere is super nice.

From a dirty canal to a check-in point, it is a renovation, improvement, and restoration of Mae Kha Canal to bring it back to life again. Along the 2-kilometer long path, there is a walkway that is neatly paved with seasonal flowers on both sides of the road. There are shops selling drinks, snacks, souvenirs, local products from the villagers, creating jobs for people in the community.

For those who like taking photos, I recommend coming in the afternoon or evening. The weather is nice and the light is beautiful. It is very relaxing and beautiful to walk around. It has a very Japanese feel.

Open daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
There is parking available or you can take a red car.
