Wat Rong Khun | White Temple in Thailand | Tourist Attractions

The White Temple is a brand new Buddhist temple with exquisite carving art. It is based on pure white. It shines brightly under the sun. It attracts many foreign tourists every day and has become one of the famous landmarks in Chiang Rai. The White Temple is commonly known as the White Temple. Its official name is Wat Rong Khun, which is a temple under construction in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
The temple was designed by the famous Thai Lanna artist Xu Longcai and construction began in 1998.
Different from traditional Thai temples, this temple is made of plain white with silver mirrors, reflecting dazzling light, symbolizing the purity of Buddha and the wisdom of Buddha illuminating the whole universe
