Wat Klang Wiang, Chiang Rai

Wat Klang Wiang is an ancient temple that was built over 750 years ago when the city of Chiang Rai was first established.

The original religious structures have deteriorated over time, but the temple has been renovated. It is located in the heart of the city and is also the site of the Chiang Rai city pillar.

Inside the temple, you can see beautiful Lanna-style architecture, including Buddha statues, stupas, and more.
