Agricultural tourism: Japonica rice 🌾

This trip is an agricultural tourism about Japonica rice🌾, a high-quality Japanese rice grown in Thailand. The project is a collaboration between the RMUTT, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, Chiang Rai Rice Research Center, and the Rice Department to increase farmers' income by 19% and reduce the import of Japanese rice. 🍚🍙

🧏♀️ Japonica rice is currently in high demand. The trip will take you to see the rice fields, rice milling, and processing at Krirk Rice Mill, the only rice mill in Chiang Rai that mills Japonica rice, which has GHP/HACCP standards from the collaboration with the RMUTT. 👍😍

💁♀️ There is also processing into sushi and crispy Japanese rice, and you can try it at Something Rice Workshop & Cafe', which has other processed rice products. 🍣🫓
