Black House Museum

Baandam or Baandam Museum is one of the works of national artist Ajarn Thawan Duchanee who is skilled in painting, sculpture and many other works of art. Baandam Museum has artworks related to wooden houses in Lanna style, concrete houses with strange shapes and the most outstanding feature is that almost every house is ‘black’ which is the origin of the name ‘Baandam’ and is also Ajarn Thawan’s favorite color. In addition, each house is decorated with carved wood and animals such as buffalo horns, deer horns, crocodile skin, seashells and animal bones. #BaandamMuseum
