🇱🇦 This trip, we flew from Suvarnabhumi to Chiang Rai Province and rented a car. In the morning, we went to Mae Sai, crossed to Tachilek District, Myanmar. In the afternoon, we will go to Laos.

🇱🇦 Drive to Chiang Saen District, at the Golden Triangle, go to the checkpoint to issue border crossing documents. It takes less than 10 minutes.

🇱🇦 After passing the checkpoint, we took a boat to cross the river to Laos. The fare is 60 baht per person. The boat ride takes no more than 20 minutes.

🇱🇦 After crossing to Laos, let the officer check the documents. After passing through, walk out. You will see a tour booth. It is a tour that takes you on a golf cart to various points. It is sold by the hour or by the whole day. We chose to buy a 1-hour package for 250 baht.

🇱🇦 After buying the tour, the staff or guide on this trip took us to get on the golf cart and drove to introduce the city. We got a lot of knowledge.

🇱🇦 Place 1 is "Wat Chongchan", a Chinese temple. The decorations and statues are all in Chinese style. It's like a replica of a Chinese temple.

🇱🇦 Place 2 is "Chinatown", a commercial area decorated in a pure Chinese style. There are hanging lamps above. The guide said that the market opens in the evening and the lights are very beautiful. I'm starting to want to see it. But we didn't stay until the evening, which is a pity. We only took pictures and went back.

🇱🇦 Place 3 is "King Roman", a large golden building that we can see from the Thai side. When we saw it up close, it looked very magnificent. This is a large hotel and casino. The guide took us in. Before entering, there was a weapons check. Sunglasses and hats were not allowed to be worn to check safety. Photography was not allowed inside. When we went in, we saw slot machines, card tables, roulette, and gamblers. Most of them are Chinese people sitting around.

🇱🇦 Location 4 Souvenir market There are shops selling various things, both food and clothes from Laos. You can pay in Thai baht.

🇱🇦 Leaving the last point, the guide drove back to the original point. It was exactly 1 hour. It was worth it for this price. We got to sit in the car and enjoy the city. Then we took a long-tail boat back to the Thai side.
