The Taiping Cloud Ladder is a 281-meter-long suspension bridge located in Taiping Village, Meishan Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan, about 1,000 meters above sea level, connecting Mount Taiping and Guishan. It is known as the highest scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan, and offers spectacular views of the Chianan Plain, Taiwan Strait, and Meishan 36 Bay.

If the weather is good, you can enjoy different views depending on the time of day from this bridge, such as a sea of ​​clouds, sunsets, and nighttime illuminations. Sea of ​​clouds are particularly likely to occur in winter, creating a fantastic view.

Opening hours are 9:00-16:30 on weekdays and 9:00-17:30 on weekends and holidays, and the park is closed every Wednesday. Admission is NT$100 for adults.

To get there, take a Chiayi County bus (7304, 7315, 7323) from Chiayi Railway Station, then change to the Taiping Line bus at the Meishan Gong bus stop and head to the Taiping Suspension Bridge. Alternatively, take the BRT from Chiayi High Speed ​​Rail Station to Chiayi Railway Station and follow the same route.

There are also tourist attractions in the area, such as Taiping Old Street and Yunzhinan Trail, so you can enjoy nature and culture at the same time. When visiting, please check the weather and crowds, and enjoy your stay safely.
