Hor Fun

“Hor Fun” is a Homecooked Fusion style restaurant on Phad Sai Road.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is decorated in a Chinese Modern style, blending the classic charm of a century-old building with contemporary details perfectly. Marble tables paired with wooden chairs evoke the feeling of an old tea house. It stands out with a large painted tiger and Chinese lanterns designed to match the restaurant beautifully.

The name “Hor Fun” comes from Cantonese, meaning “wide rice noodles,” which is the main ingredient of the signature dish, steamed rice rolls. This dish uses the original recipe from Chef Pik’s wife, Khun Na, passed down with love and care for the whole family to enjoy happily. It’s truly the authentic taste of a mother’s cooking. Chef Pik, with extensive experience in the culinary world, has reinvented these memories into a modern style. There are 9 varieties to choose from, each dish distinguished by a rich, carefully simmered sauce with a unique flavor.

Ingredients are carefully selected, especially many main ingredients sourced from Nakhon Pathom province, which the chef calls the Kitchen of Thailand. The wide rice noodles are made from pure rice flour, chewy and soft. The dried shrimp is specially selected from a trusted regular shop.

One must-try dish is the flame-grilled Wagyu steamed rice rolls, served with a live flame show at the table. The aroma of grilled beef fills the air, making your mouth water.

Another favorite is the super minced pork with plum soup, a tangy, sweet, salty, and spicy broth full of flavor.

Next is a creative dish, Hor Fun Pizza, a crispy wide rice noodle pizza topped with smoked roasted duck inspired by Peking duck. The chef fries the wide rice noodles until perfectly crispy, spreads a rich hoisin sauce, then tops it with specially selected roasted duck from Yaowarat. Served with a special pickled vegetable side, it cuts the richness and adds flavor, making it both stylish and delicious.

Or try the Caprese Gana Chai, an appetizer that breaks the traditional Caprese Salad mold. The chef combines mozzarella and tomatoes with “Gana Chai,” creating a fresh, fragrant, creamy, and surprisingly harmonious new flavor.

For those craving Hong Kong-style breakfast, try the red pork with fried egg rice. The juicy red pork and runny fried egg are topped with the chef’s special sauce, fragrant, rich, and incredibly delicious.

At “Hor Fun,” every dish is a memory retold in a more enjoyable way. We believe anyone who visits will definitely fall in love with it 😍 If you’re strolling around Song Wat or Yaowarat, be sure to stop by.
