Chittorgarh Fort - Largest Fort in India

Visited Chittorgarh fort in the month of August. It was quite hot, hence would suggest to visit in winters for a good experience

Inspite of the heat we throughly enjoyed visiting the fort. Its a huge fort and one can take their car inside the fort. Its a living fort and is quite interesting to see a whole township within the fort.

There are several points within the fort and I strongly recommend to hire a guide otherwise its very difficult to navigate within the fort. Our guide showed us various parts of fort which were of historical importance such as palace of Meera Bai, her temple, victory pillar, water reservoir (a very pretty sight) etc.

This is a must visit place in Rajasthan
