Chonburi City Pillar Shrine, for those who believe in superstition and wish for blessings, don't miss it.

#TravelChat
I've been to Chonburi countless times, and I've been to the market often, but this was my first time seeing and visiting the Chonburi City Pillar Shrine. The shrine is a beautiful, bright red, Thai-style wooden house with gold accents. It's elevated, and you have to climb a flight of stairs to pay your respects.
Worship sets are available at the front of the shrine, and they come in various sizes and prices. Once you're upstairs, light nine incense sticks to pay respects to the heavens and earth, as well as the City Pillar Shrine. You'll tie a tri-colored cloth around the shrine and apply gold leaf. The kind uncle and auntie upstairs will guide you throughout the process. They'll refill the oil lamps, but they won't let you fill them all up, so you'll have plenty left over. After you're done, just leave the betel nut for the shrine and take the rest home for good luck. #ChonburiCityPillarShrine #WorshipChonburi #BeautifulTemplesChonburi #TravelChonburi #ChonburiReview
