Hotspring at Chongming Island - 🇨🇳

Hotsprings is an excellent choice if you go Chongming Island to escape from the busy city-life style in Shanghai. It is not near so I will take you about two hour’s drive from Shanghai city center.

I don’t know the English name of this place but you can get there using this address in Chinese: 竖新镇纬九路前卫村801号.

I recommend to stay overnight so you can enjoy the hot spring all night without rushing. The place is well maintained, it is clean, garden are tidy and beautifully decorated with plants and flowers.

This place gets very crowded over the weekends so if you have the chance to go during weekdays you will avoid big groups.

It has a restaurant, outdoor pool, a hotsprings with different temperatures. An advantage is that it closes late so you can fit this in your itinerary at any time. It is open until 10:00 PM.
