Hong Kong girl spends three days and two nights in Christchurch | Direct flights get off the plane and eat right away at the exotic market! Cardboard church + airplane museum photo guide, supermarket cooking saves money and is delicious

My girlfriend and I couldn't help but rush to Christchurch, New Zealand. We chose an evening flight from Hong Kong. After a good sleep, we woke up and arrived directly the next morning! The three-day and two-night itinerary is set, there is everything to eat, play and buy, and there are many photo spots. Hong Kong girls will immediately post a strategy when they come back after going there. There is nothing wrong with playing according to the sisters

Day 1: Get off the plane early and go straight to the Market! Eat all the oysters and fried chicken wings, shop at Crystal and buy honey for a whole day

07:00 Arrive Christchurch Airport | Coming into the city
Hong Kong night flight, take 10 hours, although the moment I got off the plane, although a little sleepy, but see the sky in Christchurch so blue to glow, immediately wake up! It took half an hour to take the bus from the airport to the city center. We left our luggage at the hotel without much stop and headed straight to the highlight of this trip - Riverside Market! We agreed to be a "foodie", we should eat our fill first

09:30 Riverside Market | Exotic food sweep, don't miss the queue!
This Market is really a paradise for Hong Kong girls! The first feeling when entering: "Wow! The decoration is beautiful to cry!" The ceiling is hung with colorful light strings and wooden decorations, the walls have a lot of graffiti, whether taking food or selfies, the background is beautiful to not have to edit photos

My girlfriend and I lost control, first rushed to the oyster stall, freshly opened oysters with a little lemon juice, fresh and sweet to no friends; then ordered fried chicken wings, crispy to "click" sound, more juice, hot after eating very addictive; and classic fried fish and chips, crispy outside and soft inside, tender to melt in your mouth, with tartar sauce, great! Finally, I tried Indian food. The curry was fragrant and spicy. Served with Indian pizza, I had a round belly

Remember! In addition to ramen, pork hands, and coffee (the latte latte art is so beautiful that I can't wait to drink it), the shop selling pies across the street is the real "hidden guy"! Don't leave when you see the long queue. The pie is hot from the oven, whether it's a meat pie or a fruit pie. Also, after 12 noon there is also handmade pasta, the master makes to order, the noodles are bouncy, rich sauce, after eating really want to encore ~

14:00 Stroll next to Market |Crystal, Manuka, Lululemon Shopping mode on
After eating, the "women's favorite section" begins - shopping! There is a row of small shops next to the Market, each one is very characteristic ~ First rush to the crystal stone shop, inside the crystal colors are beautiful to shine, whether it is crystal bracelets, pendants or raw stones, many styles to dazzle, I bought a pink crystal bracelet, looking happy; then go to Manuka honey shop, New Zealand must buy it! I chose UMF15+, I went back to give it to my mother. There are also Lululemon, which foreigners often buy

16:30 Christchurch train + paper church photo | Warm scenery after the earthquake
After shopping, go take some beautiful photos! First go to find the Christchurch little train, the train has a retro feel, red body with green window edge, stopped on the rails, whether standing next to take pictures, or sitting on (remember to ask the staff can go up), there is a strong feel, the picture came out friends thought I went to Europe!

Halfway through the Cardboard Cathedral, this church is really special – because the original cathedral collapsed in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, the temporary church was later rebuilt with cardboard, wood and steel frame. It's quiet and warm inside, the sunlight shines in through the stained glass, although simple, but feels very sacred, photography has a sense of story, remember to stay quiet when you visit ~

17:30 3D Church + Zoological and Botanical Park | Check-in and see small animals
Next to the cardboard church is the 3D church. There is a 3D projection of the original cathedral on the wall. Scan the QR code and you can hear the bells of the original church. There are many animals unique to New Zealand, and there is a super large lake, you can rent a boat to take a tour of the lake, blowing the wind and see the scenery, very comfortable ~ We saw a few alpacas, loose fur is very cute, couldn't help but take a lot of pictures!

19:30 Supermarket shopping and cooking at hotel | Money-saving tips for Hong Kong girls
After playing all day, I didn’t want to go out for a big meal at night, so I went shopping at the nearby Countdown supermarket! New Zealand steak and lamb chops are super cheap and delicious, and there are many fresh vegetables, fruits, and spaghetti and soup packets in the freezer.

Day 2: Crazy check-in at the Aircraft Museum! In the afternoon hea shopping, at night the supermarket continues to shop

09:00 Air Force Museum of New Zealand | A must-see for airplane fans!
The highlight of the second day – the airplane museum! This museum is free to enter and scares me in size. It is one of the largest aviation museums in the southern hemisphere. Whether you are a fan or not, you will feel shocked

Inside are over 100 aircraft, ranging from old propeller planes to modern fighters, and lots of interactive exhibition areas! My favorite is the "simulated cockpit", sitting on it like really starting a plane, there is also a 3D cinema, watching aviation history films, the screen is very realistic; you can also see the historical artifacts of the New Zealand Air Force, even the pilot's uniforms, instruments are super detailed ~ I took countless photos with my girlfriend, and tried to sit in the pilot's seat, the feeling is great! Remember to leave more time, at least 3 hours of shopping is enough

13:00 Hea food and shopping in the city center | Recharge with a cup of coffee
From the museum back to the city center, had a late lunch, chose a street corner cafe, ordered an avocado salad with toasted bread, avocado fresh to the oil, bread toasted crispy, with a cup of flat white, enjoy immediately fully charged! In the afternoon, you can also stroll the streets of the city center. Many streets in Christchurch are beautiful, with many small gardens and sculptures

18:00 Go to the supermarket again | Snap snacks as souvenirs
Go to the supermarket again at night! This time we focus on snacks and souvenirs - New Zealand chocolate (especially Whittaker), dried fruit, honey sugar are very tasty, and some cheese strips, cookies, buy back to give to colleagues and friends perfect;

Day 3: Polar Museum + Airport Return | Trip ends successfully

09:00 International Antarctic Center | Experience the coldness of Antarctica!
On the morning of the third day, we went to the Polar Museum, which is super distinctive and specializes in introducing the history of Antarctica and Antarctic exploration. There is an "Antarctic Storm Experience Room" inside, you have to put on a thick jacket before entering, the temperature inside is as low as -18°C, and there is a strong wind blowing through, freezing us to scream, but very exciting!

There are also many exhibition areas: you can see specimens of Antarctic penguins (super cute), expedition team equipment, Antarctic map, and simulated Antarctic camp, see how the explorers live;

12:30 Packing + final shopping | Can't wait to leave
Return to the hotel to pack your luggage, stuff all the crystals, honey, and snacks you bought into your suitcase

14:00 To the airport for return | Goodbye Christchurch!
I took the bus to the airport and took another look at Christchurch before leaving. The sky was still very blue and the air was so fresh. I couldn't miss it! This three-day and two-night trip, eating well, playing well, shopping well, and taking countless beautiful photos, the Hong Kong girl said she was very satisfied

Tips for Hong Kong girls:

1. From Christchurch Airport to the city center, the Airport Express bus is most convenient, about 30 minutes, and the fare is about NZ$20;

2. Riverside Market be sure to go early, not later than 10pm, or there will be long queues at the pies and hot food stalls;

3. The Aircraft Museum and the Polar Museum are in the suburbs, it is recommended to take the bus or take an Uber, not walking;

4. Supermarket groceries back to the hotel to cook is really cheap, and New Zealand ingredients are very fresh, novices can make delicious;

5. The weather in Christchurch changes quickly, remember to bring a thin jacket, do not catch a cold ~

Sisters, Christchurch is really a great place for a short trip, slow life, beautiful scenery, good food, I will definitely go again next time I have the chance! This guide ends here, remember to like and share ~
