🍂 A Romantic Ride During Peak Autumn Foliage: Pedaling Fun and Healing at the Same Time! (A)
Choosing Gangchon Rail Park for my #AutumnTravel was a truly brilliant move. I visited in late October, when the foliage was at its peak, and the breathtaking view of the mountains, awash in red and yellow, and the Bukhangang River along the disused Gyeongchun Line was breathtaking. The 6km course starting at Gimyujeong Station had few uphill climbs and many downhill sections, making pedaling effortless. Simply taking in the cool autumn breeze and leisurely admiring the surrounding scenery was a truly healing experience.
The four themed tunnels that appeared intermittently during the rail bike ride were an unexpected delight. With dazzling lights, exciting music, and even a Milky Way theme, it felt more like a comprehensive entertainment experience than just a simple rail bike ride. After riding the rail bike, I transferred to the Romantic Train and rode to Gangchon Station. It was a perfect time to relax and enjoy the autumn scenery of the Bukhan River.
