Olympic town Cortina - a perfect place to stay in the Dolomites

Looking for somewhere comfortable to stay while visiting the Dolomites? Cortina is the perfect town. With many shops selling outdoor equipment and retail products from internationally-renowned brands, you can get all the equipment you need to explore the mountains. Buses down to Venice, Marco Polo Airport and to many locations in the Dolomites are available from Cortina as well. There is a helpful counter manned by staff at the bus station too. There are many travel agencies where you can booking hiking tours or rent bicycles or hiking equipment. The evening views are also stunning as Cortina receives the full glow of the sunrise and sunset on the mountains. A perfect base for anyone hiking here! We stayed at Hotel Olimpia, which had comfortable and spacious rooms and a generous breakfast buffet.
