Located in Dachang Hui Autonomous County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, Dachang Nationalities Palace is not only a city entertainment center, but also a distinctive business card that showcases local religion, history and culture. The complexity and uniqueness of this project lies in the fact that it has to meet multiple functional requirements while becoming an iconic cultural building.

During the design process, designer Academician He Jingtang always adhered to his "two views and three characteristics" principles, namely the overall view and sustainable development view, as well as the regionality, culture and timeliness of the building. He cleverly used traditional mosques as inspiration and applied modern building materials and techniques to present the spatial structure of the mosque in a completely new way.

The exterior design of the Dachang Nationalities Palace is unique. The surrounding arches gradually taper from bottom to top, forming an elegant arc. When the building is reflected in the water, these curved petal-shaped arches become clearer and more vivid, exuding a unique temperament. The design of the dome is even more ingenious. It does not simply copy Islamic symbols, but instead uses a series of petal-shaped shells to creatively transform the interior space into a semi-outdoor roof garden. This design not only integrates sunlight, air and greenery, but also makes the building itself a vivid work of art.
