[Daegu Modern History Museum]

Built in 1932 as the Daegu branch of the Korea Industrial Bank.
Designated a tangible cultural property in 2003, it is a modern cultural heritage site that well preserves its Renaissance-style original.
The museum features a variety of materials and exhibits that explore the history of modern Daegu.

You can visit the first and second floors of the building.
There's even a Japanese pamphlet right at the entrance!
There are arrows on the floor indicating the route, so we went through in order. 😊

In the vault from the Korea Industrial Bank,
banking documents used at the time are on display.
You can see old currency and other items.

You can even experience riding a bus while watching a video of Daegu's modern streets at the time.

On the second floor,
children can build modern Daegu buildings out of blocks!

While walking along Bukseong-ro, you might enjoy learning about Daegu's modern history at the Daegu Modern History Museum. ✨

By the way, across the street from the building, there's a sign that says "Best Photo Spot." 👍
