Afternoon tea photos continue with the Instagram algorithm, and Kensington Hotel appears, followed by maps of Yeouido, Gangwon, Daegu, etc.
That's how I found this place. It wasn't a hotel, but it seemed like a restaurant in an amusement park. But it was on the 78th floor. It was inside E-World 83 Tower.
There were many interesting elements, so I decided to stay in Daegu for one night and visit. The reservation date happened to be Valentine's Day. ㅋㅋㅋ
I think Namsan Seoul Tower also has a revolving restaurant in the tower, but I didn't go there, so I experienced Kobe Port Tower and Shimonoseki Yume Tower in Japan.
It takes about an hour to go around once, so you can enjoy a 360-degree view while eating. I thought it would be easy to find since I went to Duryu Park the night before and enjoyed the night view.
But when I arrived and went to the main gate of I-World, I had to buy a free pass, admission ticket, lift car, etc. separately. The observatory was included in the restaurant fee.
So I thought it was inside I-World, but it wasn't. I arrived early and walked up. It's not as high as Namsan, so I walked up for about 15 minutes.
It's a structure where you go from the 1st floor to the 4th floor and transfer to the tower elevator of the building on the other side. It's not difficult because the signs are well marked. I arrived at the observatory ticket center.
If you tell them that you have a reservation at the New York New York restaurant, they will guide you to the observatory-only elevator. There was no special confirmation procedure. I got off at the 78th floor nonstop.
It's 83F, but the upper floors are currently marked as under construction. The observatory is located on the 77th floor, and you can see it for free after eating. The observatory fee was 10,000 won.
The price of afternoon tea is a whopping 49,900 won. It's for 2 people, so if you include the 20,000 won observatory fee, it's 29,900 won? It's a very good price.
Of course, it's not the best benefit if you go alone, but afternoon tea + observatory is very good. First of all, the location is like eating and going in.
There are couple seats and family seats, and the table layout is good. Afternoon tea is Smith Tea and the only drink available is Smith Tea as a promotion.
One cup per person out of 2 types of black tea, 3 types of herbal tea, and 1 type of green tea. You can choose 2 cups if you go alone. Choose 1 black tea and 1 herbal tea.
Since it's a restaurant, bread before the meal is also provided for afternoon tea. There are also scones. Savory is a regular-sized hamburger cut into pieces.
The rest are all sweets and are single-serving. Only strawberry chocolate comes in 2 types, white and black. All sweets are menus with strawberries.
The visuals are also excellent. But the biggest downside here is that the strawberries are not tasty. In particular, the ones with strawberry puree tasted slightly spoiled, so I didn't eat them all.
The bakery and cream also looked like they had been made for a while. You can easily tell when you taste them.
The hamburger patties tasted like they were worth the price. So rather than saying it was good value for money, I felt like it was a place that offered the same taste as the price. The bonus observatory nodded and came down. Thank you.
