When spring arrives, Daejeon transforms into a city adorned with cherry blossoms, creating breathtaking scenery. In 2025, cherry blossoms in Daejeon are expected to start blooming around March 30 and reach full bloom by April 4.

One of Daejeon's most iconic cherry blossom spots is the Daecheongho Cherry Blossom Road. From March 28 to April 6, 2025, the 'Daecheongho Green Picnic' cherry blossom festival will take place here. Instead of extravagant performances, the festival offers a cozy picnic-style experience with nature, featuring cherry blossom busking, a picnic cinema, a flea market, and various other programs.

Another popular spot is the Bomunsan Cherry Blossom Road. Bomunsan is easily accessible from downtown Daejeon and is a favorite among locals, with cherry blossoms in full bloom along its walking trails.
