The Wonders of Yunnan- Dali Ancient City

Dali is a beautiful city in the Chinese province, Yunnan. It is rich with history and it is full of pleasant surprises.

The Ancient City in Dali dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is protected by a big wall. Inside the city you see people wearing traditional clothes and beautiful old traditional buildings. There are plenty of scenic restaurants and bars to choose from, and one can also find lots of traditional souvenirs. The tie-dyed tapestries are exquisite, and can be bought for very reasonable prices.

There are great hotels and hostels located inside the Ancient city, where you get the feeling of being part of this vibrant town. The ancient city is a short drive away from all the major attractions, like the 3 pagodas, Lake Erhai and the beautiful mountains.

The temperature (even in the summer) is very pleasant, and the air quality is exceptionally good.
