Seeking respite from the city's hustle and bustle, I journeyed from Guangdong to Dali and checked in to the Yishanhai Inn by Erhai Lake. At first glance, I was captivated by its simple yet warm design. White walls and blue tiles, facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake, create a scene reminiscent of a traditional Chinese ink painting.

We booked their king-size room. Upon opening the window, the shimmering waters of Erhai Lake poured into view through the expansive floor-to-ceiling window. The room was decorated in a simple and elegant style, with natural wood furniture exuding a refreshing aroma. The soft and comfortable bedding beckoned me to lie down and savor the tranquility.

As dusk approached, I sat on the terrace, watching the sun slowly sink behind the Cangshan Mountains, painting the sky in vibrant shades of orange and red. The inn also offers thoughtful services. The staff recommended local attractions and specialties worth exploring, soothing the weariness of the journey.
