If you’re looking for a change of pace from Dali ancient city, then take a trip for lunch to Xizhou old town. Just a 25 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the bars and cafés is this well preserved (mostly) old town.

The huge 500 year old tree greeted us into the winding streets selling traditional Bai minority crafts of hand dyed fabric and woven baskets.
