🇨🇳Shanghai vs Dalian | Private lounge comparison 🛋️

As someone who loves testing out premium travel experiences, I recently tried two very different options: the Dalian Airport VIP Terminal and the Shanghai Pudong Airport – No. 135 Lounge. On paper, both promise exclusivity and comfort, but in reality, the experiences couldn’t be further apart. One delivered seamless luxury and true privacy, while the other looked the part but fell flat once you scratched beneath the surface.

🏢Dalian Airport VIP Terminal

It felt like stepping into a world of true exclusivity — a private concierge came to handle everything for me. Even security was just for me, with no crowds or waiting.

Inside, the lounge was quiet, elegant, and comfortable—almost like a private club. The staff were attentive in a personal way, making the entire process smooth and effortless. It’s the kind of place where you feel like every detail is designed around you.

🛋️Shanghai Pudong Airport – No. 135 Lounge

I also tried the No. 135 Lounge in Shanghai. At first glance, the interior looked great and the seats were cozy, so I thought it would be a relaxing spot. But the reality wasn’t as good.

The food was gone with no refills, and the staff were cold and mechanical—doing the bare minimum without warmth. It felt like the kind of service a robot could provide. The lounge looked stylish, but it lacked the soul and substance I expected.
