[Fukuoka/Dazaifu] Free admission to experience a different culture Kyushu National Museum "Ajippa"

When you think of Dazaifu, many people think of "Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine", but I'd like to introduce an interesting facility that can be accessed from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and where you can experience different cultures while taking a break. ◎ It's an experiential exhibition room "Ajippa" located inside the Kyushu National Museum 🪀

An experiential exhibition room where you can enjoy games and music from Asian countries for hours with no admission fee 💡

Take off your shoes and enter the exhibition room.
There are booths for each country, and you can enjoy traditional games and instruments from each country using your five senses 🪇 I also took a break and enjoyed the game, losing track of time ◎

I went there in the middle of Golden Week, but it wasn't crowded at all and everyone was relaxing ☀️

4-7-2 Ishizaka, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture
*The souvenir shop located further back from the museum entrance is the landmark. In front of the souvenir shop, there is a special booth with "Ajippa" written on it.

🕰️Opening hours:
9:30-17:00 (last entry 16:30)
*Open at night on Fridays and Saturdays during special exhibitions
9:30-20:00 (last entry 19:30)

✔︎Closed:
Mondays
*If Monday is a national holiday, the museum will be closed the following day

🚉Access:
Exit Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station and walk for about 10 minutes
*After leaving the station, head towards Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Follow the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and cross the bridge just before the shrine to find a sign. Head towards "Kyushu National Museum".
