Zhagana, a natural stone palace at an altitude of 3,000 meters, is built along the mountain with a layout of four villages and one monastery. Tibetan-style wooden houses are scattered harmoniously, and prayer flags flutter between the snow-capped mountains and the blue sky. In the early morning, you can see the curling smoke of incense offerings, while the sound of prayer wheels and chanting intertwine to create an eternal spiritual totem.

The geographical wonders here are gifts from the Creator. Zhagana is surrounded by four villages—Dongwa, Yeri, Dari, and Daiba—built around the stone mountains. Three classic trails traverse forests, grasslands, and sacred lakes: a light hike leads to the Fairy Beach Meadow, offering a panoramic view of the stone city; an intermediate route takes you to the misty Cuomei Peak; and seasoned trekkers can challenge a three-day crossing route, witnessing remnants of Quaternary glacial landforms amidst primeval forests and alpine lakes.

Local cuisine carries the warmth of Tibetan hospitality. Tsampa and butter tea provide energy for the highlands, yak jerky exudes the smoky aroma of juniper branches, and wild boar paired with barley wine embodies the rugged spirit of the mountains. Freshly made yak yogurt topped with local wild honey in the morning offers a sweet greeting from 3,000 meters above sea level.

Here, there is no urban noise, only the calls of shepherds echoing through the valleys and the sound of monastery bells brushing over barley fields. Zhagana, with its majestic stone peaks, protects the original Tibetan villages, waiting in its most authentic form for travelers seeking poetry and distant horizons.
