#hellohalloween Exploring Doha & Lusail was an absolute treat—think stunning architecture, vibesy cultural districts, luxe shopping, and epic fountain shows all in one trip 🕌💦✨ The Katara Cultural Village blew me away with its mashup of Qatari heritage and modern art, while Lusail’s Place Vendome Mall felt like a slice of Europe in the Middle East.
Must-See Spots in Doha:
- Katara Cultural Village (Doha, Qatar, open all day): Wander through galleries, catch outdoor performances, or sip mint tea at a street café. Insider tip: Visit at sunset for magical light over the sea and amphitheater.
- Katara Square (Gabheera Near katara Gulabsingh Pratapgarh, Doha, open all day): A picturesque plaza perfect for people-watching and photoshoots. Look out for unique statues and chill seating spots.
- OliOli Doha Children's Museum (21 High Street, Children's Mall, Katara Cultural Village): Seriously creative, hands-on exhibits—kids (and adults) will love it.
- Children’s Mall (in Katara Cultural Village): Family-friendly food and activities. Bring your appetite—local sweets are worth the splurge!
- Katara Mosque (9G5F+PWF, Doha, open 10:00-18:00): Mesmerizing tiles and tranquil vibes. Dress modestly and snap pics in the courtyard.
Lusail Highlight:
- Place Vendome Mall Fountain (CG3C+R3, Lusail, open 09:45-22:00): The evening music fountain show is a total must—arrive 15 minutes early for prime viewing! The mall itself is ultra-glam for shopping breaks.
Getting Around: Public buses and cabs made it easy—Try Doha Metro to Katara, and taxis for Lusail. For dining, seek out authentic Qatari food stalls at Katara. Summer is hot—plan indoor activities midday, and always have bottled water handy.
