🚢Baicha Village is located in Jiangbian Township, Dongfang, Hainan, where old houses nestle among coconut trees. There are no entertainment facilities in the village other than the boat-shaped houses. However, it is this purity, simplicity, and unpretentiousness that moves people.

Legend has it that when the ancestors of the Li people landed on Hainan Island by boat from the coast, they had no place to live, so they turned their boats upside down and lived in them. Later generations of the Li people, in order to commemorate their ancestors, imitated the shape of boats and built boat-shaped thatched houses.
