Weekend Kid-Friendly Getaway - A Top-Tier Family Destination

I personally really like this resort-style hotel. The property itself is very spacious, and even though it was fully booked during the May Day holiday, it didn't affect our experience much because there are so many activities available. If you don't feel like going out, you can just relax at the hotel - the interior scenery is beautiful with plenty of recreational facilities, making it perfect for family trips with kids or elderly relatives. The Dongguan Botanical Garden next to the hotel is stunning and worth a visit for those who enjoy walking. Strolling around and spending a few hours immersed in nature really lifts your mood.

After booking, the hotel assigned us a personal butler. Manager Ye provided exceptionally thoughtful service, answering all our questions and going above and beyond to solve any issues. They even helped reserve adjacent rooms for our group of families in advance. From check-in to check-out, the experience was excellent.

The Qifeng Building where I stayed is the "face" of Dongguan State Guest Hotel! The mountain-view rooms feature a modern Chinese style, with spacious layouts and floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of lush greenery - absolutely breathtaking from bed. I also loved the large bathtub, which instantly gave me that vacation vibe.

The rooms are equipped with thoughtful smart amenities - smart toilets, electric curtains, intelligent lighting control, and even robot room service...

Here, you can brew a cup of tea while watching peacocks stroll across the lawn - every step reveals a new scenic view, creating ultimate relaxation. Hidden gem: The private courtyard hot spring is incredibly soothing.

For dining, options include complimentary breakfast at the lakeside Western restaurant, morning tea at the Chinese restaurant Wanzhen Yuan, Chinese cuisine for lunch, and seafood hot pot buffet for dinner. There are also many surrounding restaurants, and food delivery (like from Nong Geng Ji) usually arrives within an hour. With proper planning, you'll never go hungry.

It's rare to find a hotel with almost nothing to complain about. State Guest Hotel satisfied our family in every aspect - we'll definitely be back!
