The Pearl of the Adriatic Sea|Dubrovnik

📝Travel Blog/Sharing
Standing atop the walls of Dubrovnik, the view is breathtaking, with red-tiled rooftops on one side and the azure Adriatic Sea on the other. It's a scene as beautiful as an oil painting. No wonder it's called the "Pearl of the Adriatic" and the filming location for "King's Landing" in Game of Thrones.

🏰 City Walls: 2 kilometers long, circumnavigating the city takes about 1-2 hours and is especially stunning at sunset.
🌊 Old Town: Cobblestone alleys, squares, and the cathedral evoke a medieval atmosphere.
🚡 Cable Car: Ascend to the top of Srđ Hill for breathtaking views of Dubrovnik and the sea.
🚤 If you have time, take a boat to the nearby island of Lokrum, where peacocks roam freely, a delightful sight.
🍷 Find a tavern in the Old Town at night, enjoy a glass of local wine, the breeze, and the music—the atmosphere is fantastic.

✨Tips
• 🎟️ The entrance fee to the Old City Walls is expensive, but definitely worth it. It's recommended to visit in the morning or evening to avoid the scorching sun.
• 👟 The cobblestone paths can be slippery, so remember to wear comfortable, non-slip shoes.
• 🚤 Summer is bustling with tourists, so it's best to book ferry and cable car tickets in advance.
• 📷 Best photo spots: High on the city walls, on the top of Srđ Hill, and at the Old Town harbor.
• 🍦 We recommend trying the local dessert, Rozata (similar to crème brûlée).
