Introduction:
Qingcheng Mountain in midsummer is truly healing! Please keep this 2-day 1-night summer escape guide, guaranteed to keep you cool and fully entertained~
Itinerary Highlights:
Day 1: 📍Qingcheng Front Mountain
⛰️ Known for Taoist culture, it’s recommended to walk up from the mountain gate, where you can experience the charm of "Qingcheng, the most secluded under heaven"
🍵 Be sure to visit the teahouse by Yuecheng Lake, enjoying tea while feeling the mountain breeze is so pleasant
🚠 You can take the cable car down, saving energy and enjoying a panoramic view
Day 2: 📍Qingcheng Back Mountain
🌲 More primitive and natural than the front mountain, perfect for hiking enthusiasts
🚶 Recommended route: Feipu Valley - Wulong Valley loop, with streams and waterfalls along the way that are super refreshing
📷 Tai’an Ancient Town is great for photos, with its bluestone paths and ancient buildings creating a wonderful atmosphere
Food Recommendations:
🔸 Zhang Laozao: A century-old brand, the brown sugar fermented rice wine is a must-try
🔸 Luo Chicken: Qingcheng Mountain’s specialty free-range chicken, with firm meat
🔸 Old Cured Meat: Homemade by farmers, stir-fried with bamboo shoots is amazing
Practical Tips:
1. Qingcheng Mountain has a big temperature difference, remember to bring a light jacket
2. Tickets for the front and back mountains are separate, 80 yuan each
3. It’s recommended to wear non-slip shoes, as some trail sections are steep
4. During peak season, it’s best to arrive at the scenic area before 8 am to avoid crowds
Most Convenient Place to Stay:
✔️ Recommended to stay in Tai’an Ancient Town, convenient for dining and shopping
✔️ If budget allows, choose a guesthouse on the mountain, where you can open the window to a sea of clouds in the early morning
